How I Make Money Online

Is it easy to make money online?

I've been working online for a long time now.  And if you ask me if it's easy to make money online, I tell you, its not!  I started as a data entry staff.  No special skills needed.  The lowest paying job online.  Its because there's no special skills needed its just  a simple copy-pasting task.  Then I applied for a writing job.  I love writing (that's what I do now) but believe me its not easy.  Especially if you're given the same keyword over and over again and write tons of articles about it.  Sometimes I'd call it the "white screen of death".  All I'd see is a blank white screen (MS word) as blank as my mind.  It's hard to write for something you're just forced to.  I didn't have a choice.  That's all I can do.  My boss taught me some SEO which is very helpful in getting me to my second job.  On the next job my employer trained me for Autocad, Wordpress, Dreamweaver, PPC, more SEO, html, graphic design, and social media marketing, everything else.  Then I became project manager.  Me and my team made tons of websites.  It lasted for years but then things always change.  There's no such thing as stability in any job or business.  I thank my boss for training me for all those skills that I was able to use in finding freelance jobs.  I had good employers but I haven't mentioned the bad ones I got in between.  I was new in the business and I didn't know about scams in working online.  I had a few writing jobs that never paid.  I also went through an outbound calling which asked me to sell the impossible then when I didn't get a sale I didn't get paid.  I also worked on data entry with a Real Estate Company and didn't get paid.

So, how do you know if the online employer is gonna pay you or not?

Find a legit source - Even though the sites can't control if the employers won't pay, but at least it will lessen your chance of getting scammed.  Here are the sites that I've tried:

OnlineJobsPhils.com
The employers can post for free but if you notice, there are not so many job posts.  It's because they screen the job postings and the employers before they approve the jobs posts to their sites.

Elance
In Elance they verify the credit card info of the employers.  They bill the employers directly.

Odesk
Odesk has some what the same process as Elance.

Freelancer
Freelancer is a good place to look for short term projects or freelance jobs.

The disadvantages in Elance, Odesk, and Freelancer is that they have a cut on your salary.  They also have a clearing period.  But then, you have a lesser chance of getting scammed.  For OnlineJobsPhils.com you get to deal with your client directly so they do not get any portion of your salary.  But, they are also not liable if the employer doesn't pay on time or doesn't pay at all.  However, you can have an option to ask your employer to pay in advance or get a partial payment  for security.  Later on when you are able to build trust then maybe you can arrange another payment system.

Other things you can do to make money online are creating banners, logos and selling them at Freelancer.
There are also other pay to click sites like Clixsense.  With Clixsense you get paid by clicking on the ads.  But getting paid takes time.  You only get a few cents per click.  You can also make money online by selling stuff online and creating an online store.  All you need is a good wholesaler.  I'd suggest TheDiscountsClub.com.  All you need to do is to sign up for membership and you get all items at 50% Off.  I've compared their prices and it's cheaper than other popular online shops I know.  There's a small amount of membership fee which you can easily earn back.  The Discounts Club also has an affiliate program wherein you can refer your friends and earn.  They also have promotions every month where you can get free gadgets.

There are a lot of sites that will help you make money online.  There are also a lot of sites that have good reviews but these are the few that I've tried and I can recommend.  I hope this helps.
